For what it’s worth, I noticed then and now.

Apologies are meaningless, promises are empty, yet we have and use more words in an hour than my 96 year-old grandmother used in her lifetime. Dollars are valued, despite being constructs of imagination rather than anything tangible. Everything else is expendable.

I never wanted to think I was a drone in a hive but the older I get, the more I wonder.
